'Out of the black' is de titel van dit werk, omdat dit werk geschilderd is over een ouder werk met de titel 'Black 1"
Het werk is opgebouwd uit meerdere lagen acryl in diverse kleuren, waarna de kleuren door middel van paletmes en roller zijn vermengd. Tenslotte zijn delen van de verf met het paletmes verwijderd, waardoor 'vensters' ontstaan en de onderliggende lagen zichtbaar worden.

"Out of the black" is the title of this work, because this work is painted over an older work with the title "Black 1"
The work is made up of several layers of acrylic in various colors, after which the colors are mixed by means of a palette knife and roller. Finally, parts of the paint with the palette knife have been removed, creating 'windows' and revealing the underlying layers.
