JAN-CLEMENS LAMPE, beeldend kunstenaar.
Geboren: Utrecht, 16 Januari 1938
Opleiding: Autodidact
Werk: Gemengde technieken, fotografie en poëzie.
Sinds mijn jeugd gebruik ik het medium fotografie. De onderwerpen zijn te groeperen onder de noemer "Foto-grafiek"; geënsceneerde figuratieve en non-figuratieve fotografie in kleur en zwart/wit, geïnspireerd door materiaal structuur, natuur, architectuur en de mens.
Ik word geïnspireerd door de schoonheid van het detail; het detail in het grote geheel van het landschap of de architectuur, of de enkele lijn van het menselijk lichaam. Het resultaat: is fotografie als een neerslag van de verwondering over dit lijnenspel en de kleurschakeringen al dan niet via de macrolens met daarbij de belichting als een fascinerend aspect.
Sinds 1991 vervaardig ik werken in gemengde technieken. De werken ontstaan uit de verbeelding van emoties, waarbij de grafische aspecten uit het fotografisch werk terug te vinden zijn.
Naast non-figuratieve composities in acryl en olie pastel maakt ik ook driedimensionale composities met boekdelen, hout, metaal, textiel en memorabilia. De werken worden gebracht in zorgvuldig gekozen en aan het werk aangepaste, vaak diepe, lijsten.
Sinds 1999 schrijf ik poëzie en heb ik gedichten op internet gepubliceerd, waarvan ik in juli 2004 een selectie uitgaf onder de titel "Jan-Clemens Lampe. Gedichten, Bundel #1" .
Een aantal gedichten zijn ook uitgevoerd in corten staal.
Zelf werd ik gecast in advertenties en TV-producties
Foto werken, werken in gemengde technieken en gedichten in corten-staal zijn in bezit van bedrijven, de overheid en particulieren.

Ook stond ik niet achter de camera, maar ook vóór de camera en gaf ook toe aan een ander facet: acteren.
Ik werd af en toe gecast voor advertenties, Tv-commercial en theatervoorstelling. Zie casting

Education: Autodidact
Work: Mixed media, photography and poetry.
Since my early youth I use photography as a medium to express myself. You can gather the subjects under the title "Photo-graphic"; stage managed figurative and non-figurative photography in color and black and white, inspired by structure of material, nature, architecture and the human body.
I am inspired by the beauty of the detail; the detail in the entire landscape or the architecture, by the single line of the human body. The result: a reflection of the amazement over this interplay of lines and the range of coloring, weather or not seen by a macro lens with on the top of that the lighting as a fascinating aspect.
Since 1991 I also make work in mixed media. The works come into being by crystallization of emotions, at witch the graphic aspects of the photo work are seen again.
Next to non-figurative compositions in acryl and oil pastel I also make three-dimensional compositions with book-parts, wood, metal, fabrics and meorabilia.
The works are presented in well chosen and to the work adapted, mostly deep, frames.
Since 1999 I write poetry and published poems on the internet (on my Dutch site). In July 2004 I published the poem volume "Jan-Clemens Lampe, Gedichten, Bundel #1"

I did some casting too.
Photo work, mixed media work and poems in corten steel are in company-, government- and private collections.
